Walked into my local shop today... a stainless Ceiner .22 conversion lay there, with a tag for $150... it fit my Combat Elite like it was made for it. It looked pretty new, box and all. I put it on layaway... did I do ok, and how do they work?

They retail for $200, so I'd guestimate you did good. I don't have any Ciener handgun conversions, but the one for my M16 works great. I've had it for around 15 years and still going strong.

$180, I'm sorry, hit the 5 key over there by mistake... duh....

Stainless?
Ceiner conversions are aluminum, I'm pretty sure. Mine is, anyhow.
Bought it used for $175 and got a spare magazine with it.

Quick to swap out, and works well as long as I keep it lubed.

Oh... thank you, Cordex. As I said (kinda), I don't really know about them... ok, aluminum it is... :)

You did really good. Around here, NIB is going for $250+. Used is still over $200.

I think someone got robbed, but it wasn't you!

You can buy them straight from Ciener, so don't pay more than retail.
