were any of these guns registered before may 1986 making them legaly transferable with a class 3 permit? If so what the going rate for one? I was reading on the internet that they are no longer made but would think quite a few where and possibly made the way here? Does anyone here know of any class 3 dealers who have had one of these guns?

By the way FWIW for those who may not know this gun is basicly a select fire version of a 92fs. I fires 3-round burst or semi auto. Thanks for any help.

Only a small handful of them are transferable. I was offered one several years back for $15,000 (Yes- Fifteen thousand dollars)
A pricey little gun.

Pre-1986 Beretta 93R pistols are very rare on the civilian market and extremely expensive because of this. If you could find one, it would probably run you well in excess of $10,000.

The only one I've handled (not fired, darn it) was in '89. The guy was asking $3,000 for it; seemed like a lot of money at the time.

Shoot well, be safe.

IIRC there are only 3 transferable 93R's in the country and I saw where one of them sold a few months back for somewhere around $20,000.

My friend is a class II mfg . He repairs and services NFA guns . He repaired a 93R last year and let me fire a couple 20 rd mags through it . The cool factor is very high ! It was easier to control than i expected .
