I Think She Looks HOT in Tight Fitting Leather

Last week we were camped in Brady Texas and I heard gun fire. Turns out there's a range up at Brady Lake a couple of miles from where we were staying and for the paltry sum of $3 they welcomed me in to shoot. While there I ran into a couple of good old boys, one of whom makes gun leather as a hobby. A couple of days later he stopped by our rig and "just happened" to have a couple of pieces that fit my SAA's perfectly. Since we'll be on the road for a few months and I do actually have a conscience regarding how much money I'm willing to part with before I go back to work, I only bought one.
The pics don't do it justice, he does very nice work and he's not all that proud of it price wise either. I'll be picking up at least one or two more once I "liquidate" some unused things like a Citori Trap and maybe a '62 Police.

Very nice. Oh the laments of a non-OC friendly state... I'd love to have some nice tooled leather for my Colt 1911.

I was also drooling over a 1911 holster but I've already got what I need for a carry gun. If anybody's interested in Larry's work PM me for contact info. I didn't see any of his leather priced over $80 other than full rigs. I paid $60 for this one.

That sure is some mighty fine looking leather work. The tooling and extra metal details really set it off.
Mind you that's all I'm going to say as I'm STILL REALLY MAD AT YOU BECAUSE ALL I FOUND WERE PICTURES OF A GUN AND A HOLSTER ! ! ! ! ! ! :D

I will admit to being duped into viewing this thread due to my weakness for "hot" things "in leather". After the initial disappointment, I was impressed by the holster. It is a beaut. A good story to go with it too.
....still searching for the ideal leather for my righteous 4" Python.

You caught my perverted mind on this one, how'd you know I love the heck out of girls in leather? After I realized there were none, I saw your holster and gun, I like it! It looks quite nice!

Jeez, I must be getting old. Gun Porn Guys, GUN PORN!! Your minds are all in the gutter!! I will cut Levi some slack though, he's a couple of years younger than the rest of us who know what it's like to go to the urologist office.

I was in Cody a few summers back, I need to haul my butt back there someday, and maybe start a family so I don't have to leave. That was a dirty trick, I can't believe I fell for it too. I knew this is a family forum, but that little red devil on my shoulder automatically was like "Git your hide in there, there could be pictures of pretty girls! Haha!

Let's see...In the past two weeks I haven't once even come close to slipping on the ice and falling on my can on the way out to my shop. Nor have I had to worry about some clown sliding through an intersection and taking me out.:what: In my opinion the only appropriate application for ice is floating comfortably in a tumbler filled with an adult beverage.
Did I mention that when I went out to shoot my new 1860 last week, I didn't have to wear mittens while loading it?? I love Cody but the winters I can live without. Feel free to come visit me after the snow melts though, sometime in July.:)

Yea,....now that you mention it, I do remember those big gates across the on-ramps on the big road that says "INTERSTATE CLOSED-RETURN TO LARAMIE".
I'm beginning to get the itch to see the Yellowstone country again. Last time we stayed West of West Yellowstone and had a moose and 2 calves in our yard every evening. I also attended a Rendezvous in West Yellowstone. Maybe 5 yrs ago??
Don't tempt me I may show up in July.

Nice rig ... and yeah, I bit on the thread title, too (but wasn't disappointed).
Well I'm getting pretty old too.
Take heart! As I tell my kids, "Growing old is mandatory. Growing up is optional!" In fact, think I'll change my sig line in honor of the sentiment.

I believe I did. I mainly remember the fireworks outlet they have there. It's a big store the size of a small house only it's one big room filled with copious amounts of fireworks! That place was fun! There was also a gun shop that had a larger than life replica of a Winchester rifle, They had some nice holsters there and I wanted to get one. Of course I had no six shooter to put in the holster, but I was still hankerin' for one nonetheless.
