Saw a review of new Taurus 445 in .44 special. Wonder if anyone has any experience with it? Compare to Charter Bulldog?

I have one, and consider it to be a delight... :) I also have an older Charter Arms. It has proved to be satisfactory, but both the revolver's weight and construction is lighter. In this kind of platform (big-bore snubby) I prefer the additional weight. Others might differ.

I have a 445 5 shooter. It is as accurate as I can get a snubby and shoots close to point of aim. (group 4"-5" left @ 25 yards). This is the same as a couple Ruger Vaquaro's I have.

When first purchased I got 1 or 2 lite strikes per cylinder. A trip to Taurus customer repair and it is now reliable both SA and DA.

This gun was purchased new approx 10 years ago. I know they went out of production and did not know they are now coming back??
