[303 hunter]

does anyone have any experience with the remington 700 vtr in 308? i recently bought a used one with a burris fullfield 2 6.5-20 x50mm scope. it seems to be a nice rifle.

I have had one since May. I have a 15X SuperSniper optic on it. I bought it because I liked the looks. Triangular barrel, ported muzzle, and I like the rubber inlays in the composite green stock. Very comfortable, accurate, nice trigger. Some have had quality problems with them and not many positive posts that I have seen in the past few months. I did have a problem with the floor plate popping open when you least expected it, but alittle tweaking and it was fixed. Mine is in 308.
