Mine is an federal ordinance 98/85 "American eagle" rebuild. Built around a Spanish m43 configuration it got a new 308 win barrel and scrubbed of all foreign markings spring its rebuild

R.W.Dale: Where did you find that Federal Ordinance 98/85 "American eagle" rebuild? I've never seen that crest before.

Its a rebuild from the 80's where the American eagle was added then.
Think proto Mitchell's without the false advertising

Should have taken some before pics. Bought from SARCO for about $100.00. Refinished stock, blued the barrell, polished the bolt, and installed a Timney trigger.
