Looking for information on S&W 38 Special CTG

Hello,
I just inherited a nice Smith & Wesson 38 Special CTG revolver. Serial number is 396275. Can anyone provide any information on the year it was made, or provide me a site to look this information up.

"38 Special CTG" is not the model it's the caliber of the revolver. ".38 Special Cartridge"

It could be one of a variety of models. If you could post good pictures and a better description someone can ID it.
