I love mine. It isn't the de-cocker model, but otherwise the same thing. handles great. Accuracy is excellent. Mine feeds SWC's about 97%. Some say theirs don't like SWC's.

I am a huge 1911 fan, and don't care for many other auto's, but I love the CZ 97.

Like Walkalong, my 97B is a non-decocker version but it's a fabulous gun - accurate, reliable, and a joy to shoot. I have a lot of handguns, but the 97B is one of my favorites.

I haven't shot one, but I've held one in my hand. I'm surprised how well it fit my small hands, for a double stack .45. And the trigger was great too.

WOW! A 1911 was most likely next on my list but this might have just beat it out. Beautiful pistol... and i like the bathroom walpaper too haha

If you want to see a REALLY BEAUTIFUL 97B, go to Schmeky's website:

cajungunworks.com

He has a number of well-thought-out enhancements for the CZ line of guns.

You betcha. Schmeky is who gave me advise when installing the Competition Hammer in my 97. (Not for the faint of heart)

I forgot to mention that I prefer Hogue finger grove grips to the stock wood grips on the 97B, so I added a set of Hogue finger grove grips made for a CZ 75B. You have to soak the grips in boiling water for 1 minute and then stretch them and work quickly (secure one side with the screws, stretch the grip and screw down other side), but it makes for a great grip on the 97B, IMO.

I have the BD and love it. It is almost as accurate as my much more expensive 1911s.

The gun is big, with many people complaining about the grip being too big. The BD comes with rubber grips, which makes the grip size more manageable.

Thanks, I was really hoping for the positive response. Any body have starting points for reloads ? 185 gr/230 or 200. Lead, plated(Berry),or FMJ. I'm going to purchase CZ 97 BD next week.

May I ask, if this is not a private sale, where have you managed to find one?
