I'm looking to up grade scopes on my Ruger m77 25-06. I load my own ammo and hunt deer and coyotes with it.
Any one had good luck with any. And any to steer clear of.
I'd prefer to stay in a 3x9

When I move to Oregon some 35 years ago I had almost every brand of scope made at the time. After several years of hunting and shooting in the wet, hot, cold climates of Oregon my scopes all had failed in one way or the other. The only ones that didn't fail were Leupolds. I replaced all the failures with Leupolds and never looked back. Funny thing that they are made in Oregon also. I had one fail, it was a 4X on a light 375 H&H and I took it in to Leupold which was only a few miles from my home. Greeted by a very nice woman that called another woman to take care of me. My thought was what's a female going to know about a hunting scope. The answer was way more than me!!!!!! The scope was repaired in 2 days, all the upgrades were installed and the cost was nothing. When I returned to pick it up she explained that they were very serious about their lifetime warranty and there was never a cost to repair one of their scopes. Before this I was sold on their product she just nailed it down tight. Try em you'll like em. FRJ

I'll agree with tori on that one. I've never owned a leupold but a lot of guys I shoot with use them ( haven't heard of a failure yet). If you're looking for a cheap scope, I've never had problems with nikko stirling. They are not in the same league as leupold but they aren't supposed to be considering the price difference.

I have other things to be doing than chasing little bullet holes all over a paper and burning up ammo in the process. I, also, had problems with other scopes (not being able to zero them in) and will only buy Leupold for my serious rifles.
I am confident that, when the Leupold scope is sighted in, it will always be sighted in unless I accidentally run over the gun with my truck.

Bushnell 3200 or 4200
Kind of depends on the budget.
