got my belt clip today installation was VERY simple. clip seems to be made well and is very comfortable in my waist band i'm happy to have this inexpensive way to carry[ less than 20.00 ] i'll let you guy's know if i have any problems.

If it doesn't work out for you, I use a cheap Uncle Mike's nylon IWB hoslter (less than $10.00) and it works awesome for my PF-9. Just another option.

I've been using the belt clip for my P-11 for years now. I put a little blue loctite on the screws when I installed them and it's never loosened or given me any problems.

Sure, the PF9 has a long trigger pull.

You still need to get a decent holster and cover your trigger. Pay $10 more and you'll find all sorts of very reasonable leather holster options.

The guy who shot himself in the leg because his seat belt caught his trigger convinced me that a holster covering the trigger guard is a must.

I agree about covering your trigger in general, but not in this case. If the factory trigger of a pf9 is anything like my p11 then you'd be hard pressed to pull it by snagging. More importantly, when wearing this IWB the trigger is on the inside of your pants/belt. I'm not sure if I could snag the trigger even if I was trying to.

It's not. It's a lot lighter.

Using the clip, isn't the entire grip hidden by your waistband and belt? So when you draw, you only have your thumb pulling it out until the grip clears your waistband, correct?

I know I prefer it where the grip is fully exposed so I can make a proper grab as I unholster it.

Look at making yourself a Kydex "trigger cover" to use with your belt clip. Will make you feel much better.
