My mom has a NAA 22 mag Pug that has been jamming. The hammer is very hard to pull back on two chambers, all others work fine. It was sent back to the factory once already, and it still binds. How common is this problem and how is NAA about fixing it?

Mine binds on ammo other than CCI. Runs perfect all day on CCI. You sure it's not an ammo issue?

Is it possible there are burrs on those two chambers not letting the cartridge bases sit flush to the cylinder?

If it has been dry fired there may be dammage to the cylinder where it was misaligned when the hammer was dropped. This often occurs by people trying to set the hammer down on the recess between rounds. But more than likely the rounds arent sitting flush due to detrious in the cylinder (lint, powder, etc...)

A person could diagnose some of this issue a bit. Go at it with logic and the process of elimination.

Does it do it when the gun is unloaded?

Load it and then mark the cylinders that are affected with a sharpie.

Unload it except for those cylinders and see if it still does it.

Examine the depth of the case rims in the affected cylinders.

Examine the cylinder pin and see if it is bent.

Examine the cylinder ratchets and see if the affected chambers show anomalies compared to unaffected chambers.

Contact NAA and express that you are unhappy with the situation :cuss: and politely request that they resolve it.
