I,ve been saving my .338 win mag cases for reloading. I was wondering what is the case life you have had for this caliber?

.338 case life is no different than any other caliber.

If you push the shoulder back and headspace off the belt?
About two or three times because the case stretches excessively every shot.

If you adjust the sizing die to size off the shoulder?
A lot of times, because the case doesn't stretch nearly as much.

So, it all depends on how you adjust for headspace when you size it.

The other thing that may limit belted case life is case web expansion right in front of the belt.
The sizing die can't reach it to resize it, and it may eventually become too large to chamber in your rifle.

A company called Innovative Technologies makes a collet sizing die to recondition belted cases if you run into that.
