I swapped a great guy , my 45 R1 for a 50 round "fired" EMP, Gun is brand new and looks it. He is a real gentleman, advised me of a problem with the last round failing to eject. Only has 30 to 50 rounds down the pipe, gun is extremely tight, takes a strong hand to rack it, "tht's why he go rid of it, plus he's doing a 2 -45 trade with a cousin, for a Centuri". He advised me it may just be a break in issue, sounds like either that or faulty mags. Any thoughts before I start dearching the net for answers. I usually find them here anyway. It's the 40 cal?
This sucker is tight After hundreds of guns I can say with some athority , it may be the tightest yet.

Sounds like you made out like a bandit.

The .40 EMP is tight. It needs to be to contain the .40 is an 9mm frame...that is why they make them with steel frames instead of the designed alloy.

It does sound like a break in issue, Springfield won't even have you send it in with less than 200 (closer to 500 is better) rounds through the gun. If it were happening all the time, I'd consider it an extractor issue...which it might still be
