True, but that ain't one. I believe the original single-slot plug was just that, a plug. The two-slot plugs that look like a big Phillips screw is, I believe, actually a valve that allows the use of a grenade launcher. Or works just fine for shootin' too.

That is not the USGI single slot gas plug.
It is not the plug used for grenade launchers.
That is some after market plug.
