Who made this from a S&W 38 to a 22 kal

I just got this nice S&W 38 Victory converted to 22 kal in England sometime after the War.The gun is still in germany wayting for my import permit to Denmark.so i Only has some pictures from Seller.Do any off you readers know who made the work and is it any good

there where several companys that did that conversion. most where marked, post it on the smith&wesson forum. many collectors on there should be able to help you.

Cannot help withspecifics but I remember such things being done in the 1950's when both the guns and particularly skilled labor was downright cheap.
