Over the years I've shot a long ton of HSM ammo in 38, 357, 40, 45 and 308. It's good stuff. The 308 police load (150gr FMJ) gave me NATO velocities (2700fps) out of my Springfield SOCOM. I haven't tried their 30 Carbine, but I bet it's good, too.

Has anyone tried or have any opinions on HSM 30 carbine ammo? Its brass cased and boxer primed.
I have not personally shoot any of the .30 carbine, but I'm not sure I would because of the amount of negative reviews, plus a KB, I have read on their other ammo. I do have a few boxes of S&B, it runs my Carbine very well.

My father-in-law uses Aguila in his M1 carbine. Here is a link to 1000 rounds for $279 http://www.sgammo.com/product/aguila/special-purchase-1000rd-aguila-30-caliber-carbine-110gr-fmj

Try using a ammunition search engine.
Found it for $259/1000 on there.

I'd not buy HSM anything. There are many other less expensive options. My first contact with HSM ammo was a young man shooting his new GAP 308 Win, mom & dad bought him the rifle and a 1k case of HSM "match grade" 168 gr ammo. It was priced like FGMM and shot worse than SA R1M1 762 NATO. I felt bad for the kid, at least the surplus ammo was ballpark 1 MOA. Yes, different rifles like different loads, but have you EVER seen FGMM shoot BADLY in a rifle?
The Aquila was/is sold by the CMP also. It's good brass for reloading and a lot more accurate than the Wolf M1 Carbine steel cased stuff, but is down significantly in muzzle velocity from Lake City USGI ammunition. The POI is 4-6" lower at 100 yards compared to LC. This is not a bad thing, why beat up an old rifle?

I've conducted a review of the HSM .223 ammo, which can be found in the archives.
Based on that experience, and experience with their ammo in 9mm, I would expect that their .30 Carbine ammo is probably quite good.
