Early Centenniel abuse

I have aquired an elderly S&W Centennial ser.# 40xx, and it looks very near mint, but has a problem. Someone did a wire-cutter trigger job (shortened springs) and then it got fired fast and hard enough to show wear and loose fitting cylinder stop and distress at the cylinder notches. The looseness and distress isn't terrible looking, but when firing DA (its hammerless) it shows poor timing, and the firing pin strikes off center, even striking brass a little sometimes. The firing pin shows a flat spot on the tip. The problem is the age of this gun makes finding parts difficult. Who might have an early type cylinder stop and torsion-style spring? Finding a new firing pin might be good business too, but who might have one of those?
Suggestions?
