Ambi-Safety Install question?

Sorry for this noob question, can an Ambi Safety be installed on any 1911?
I'm a lefty shooter and like to have the Ami-Safety. Most of the offerings/models I see only have the single sided safety. Please advise and thanks.

But unless you know how to fit one it may be best to leave the job to a competent 1911 smith.

I'm certainly no 1911 expert, but have installed a couple (exactly two) of them with zero problems.
If it does need "fitted", I doubt you need a smith. A little common sense and your wife's nail file will suffice.
