No, they didn't sell. Northwest Equity Partners just invested into Savage Sports Corp. The main objective, from what I gather, was to enhance Savages' growth ability. It's little known that Savage Sports Corp. also owns BowTech Archery! Investment Corporations such as this are commonplace in big business. They help the growth potential of businesses.

I think Savage was looking for cash to expand their line into other areas. I have the feeling they will have some new offerings in the next 2 years.
