Might have a chance to buy a Rossi 92 in 44 mag. Supposed to be used but not much. Any ideas on a good opening offer..?
Thanks

I paid $300 for an as new, stainless trapper carbine in .375/.38
The same guy had an unmarked, blued, octagon barrel rifle in .45 colt for $350.

He's sitting firm at $375... might have to go by and look it over.

If it's in really good shape that shouldn't be a bad price. You should also lift up the rear sight a bit and see if it is drilled and tapped underneath. If so you know it is a newer model and you can get a mount for a ler scope or red dot in the future if you so choose. Also take a good look at the bore.

I sold my Rossi .44 mags w/ 20" barrel and Skinner peep sight for $400 last year.

The guy is off tomorrow so guess I'll swing by and take a look at it after work.
We'll see what happens..?:scrutiny:
