Theres been a lot of comments recently about how InterOrdnance's "new" Yugo SKS's are nothing more than parts guns that have been recently assembled. My thought is this-what gun anywhere ISNT a PARTS gun? I dont recall any guns falling down from heaven fully assembled! What is ANY Yugo SKS but a parts gun that was assembled from PARTS in 1972,1980 or 2003? If it was assembled at the armory by armorers its a parts gun! If they arent currently attaching serial numbers to as many places as they used to, why does that matter in the scheme of things?
WHEW-Rant off!:scrutiny:

I cant actually quote anyone word for word but over the years I have read on various boards that IO allegedly misrepresents their advertised products.. I have read about some nasty experiences. I cannot say that I have first hand experience but I wouldn't be surprised, given all the rumors, that they may be up to something. Anyway, YMMV

I like my IO yugo. It is actually cleaner than my century arms yugo and it cost less. The IO is a parts gun but it shoots just fine. I think the people who get upset are the purists who collect. I shoot everything I buy so it isn't that big of an issue to me. Mark

IO was arguing with me about whether or not they would accept my order from Alaska for nearl a month before I gave up on them crooks. Saved me $8,000 bucks though! They probably didn't do anything wrong. Sounds like the feds aren't too sure about what the definition of a machinegun is.
