has anybody tried the surplusammo.com bolt carrier group, and is it any good? I'm pricing out building my own varmint upper, and knew the aero precision uppers they sell are pretty good and was looking at them and saw you could add a charging handle and BCG for a song and then write a run-on sentence.

I don't run my ar's very hard. A big day at the range for one is 60 rounds.

Spend another $30 and get the PSA Premium BCG. It is guaranteed full mil-spec. You can bet on it.

Another decent option is Spike's. You can count on the gas key being properly staked.

another +1 for the PSA premium BCG. It is a very good BCG. Mine has worked flawlessly.

Aim surplus has some good manufacturer BCGs occasionally. Bravo has some good ones to.

BCM is one of the more recommended ones and they're in stock over at Bravocompanyusa.com
