I bought a Norinco 1911 this weekend and it has a set of Black/Brown grips that have diamond cuts all over them. There was another Norinco 1911 at the show that also had the same style grips. I've seen a lot of N1911 pics online but none with that grip. Was that the standard Norinco 1911 grip?

Atticus, there have been a bunch of those Herrett (old brand name) look-alike grips pop up lately here in Ohio, at good prices. Dunno where they're from, or who made 'em. An inexpensive way to jazz up the 'Rinco 1911s--two of mine are so equipped at this time, in fact. The standard grips for most of the Norinco 1911s were the brown plastic ones, like many a military Colt wore.

If my memory serves me, hey...it DOES happen :D the are called "Skip Diamond" grips and they are made by ALOT of companies. I got a set at the last gunshow for 10$..............

Shoot well.
