As you may know from my previous post i ordered a CZ-75B dual tone and it finally arrrived on Teusday.
It looks FANTASTIC and seems to shoot fine. The onyl real glitch I had was that it seemd to have a hard time chambering some winchester white box ammo. It never actually jammed but you could feel it rubbing the wrong way. I am going to run some more rounds through it.....maybe it justneeds some breaking in.
My other question is this.

I am a little worried about the slide assembly being blued instead of polycoated or nickel. BTW...i love the look of the nickel finish.
Would it be possible for me to order a polycoated slide or maybe even a nickel one? That way i could change it out fairly easily and change the entire look of the gun if I get bored with the dual tone and still be able to change back if I desired.
I nosed around through the CZ USA site but couldnt find anything about ordering just the slide.
Any ideas?

I would suspect that your CZ will work better as you work it through its break in period.
Congrats!

I have had occasional feeding/extracting problems with Winchester White Box in my 9mm CZ 75B......the case looks identical to other Winchester ammo; maybe one out of 100 would stovepipe or fail to eject. Like the other guy said, give it a few hundred more rounds to break-in a little. :D

Try S&B in your CZ.

Instead of getting an additional slide, you might find it cheaper to send it to a plating company. Accurate Plating Co. is one source.
They can be found at www.apwcogan.com and also check out www.trippresearch.com.

Before going ahead with this, I would live it with awhile. Do the research and if you still want to make change it, you will have the necessary info to make an informed decision.

Lots of luck.

Unlike other gun companies. CZ-USA doesn't sell Slides.
Would be fun to see what people would make.

Did you get your CZ knife or other CZ gear, yet?

Knives: $49.00

2003 Calendars: $19.99

Hats and shirts, along with CZ Decals! Going fast.

I would just get it plated but the thing is if I do this I would want it to match the frame of the pistol and I doubt it would.
Like I said. I love the gun like it is....this is just an idea I was tossing about for future use as an option incase the blued starts to get a little beat up.
Also I heard that the CZ Nickel finish was VERY durable. Even more so than their polycoat finish.

If you are really concerned about durability, I would have the entire gun hard chromed or one of the other hard finishes out there like Robar, etc.
