Thinking on putting one of these 1x4's on a new AR build. Does anyone have one and what are your pro's and con's.

The "Pig Plex" advertisement in the horizontal bars of the reticle would be distracting for me. I suppose that one would become used to it, but I don't need a reminder of what reticle I have selected every time I throw my rifle up to my shoulder.

I hope it's not a sign of a trend.

A friend bought that scope and IMO it's a piece of junk.

Let me try again, I don't care about the writing in the plex. I want to hear about Function , optics and the Firedot reticle. If you think it's junk give, reasons.
