I dug these out because I wanted to find out if some were old. The upper left is a Colonial. The small one in the center is a Belknap. I think it could be old. It has a star and 4927 on the back of the blade. The yellow Case on the lower right has Case's Stainless on both blades and STAINLESS on the handle. I have not found this configuration in the info I have looked at. The hawkbill is a Sharleigh DES131. I think these were used in the textile mills around here. Please chime in if something looks familiar and you have some info on any of these pictured. I will be glad to take some more detailed pics and post if need be.

I was helping my 83 year old Mom move some stuff and came across a pocket knife that belonged to an old boyfriend who gave it to her when he went off to WWII. It is a stag handled Bertram Hen and Rooster with 3 blades. It has resided in my pocket ever since.

The Old Timer in the lower left of the OP is in my pocket right now! It was my grandpa's. I won't say it is my favorite, or even my most sentimental knife, but it ends up in my pocket more often than not.

I carry an Emerson 11 as a general purpose tool and weapon and it is just too big for some uses like picking splinters out of my hand. The small folder fills a nitche.
