If you have one of these, do you shoot it? Just how collectable will they be?
My son is graduating early and I'd like to get him something special for the occasion.
Thinking about one of the NRA specials because he loves shooting my 22/45 but really don't want a safe queen.
The Lipsey's special editions look pretty nice too.

I think the only "collectible" ones will be the NRA00001 which is to be or already was auctioned off to the highest bid over $10,000. They also set aside the next 500 serial numbers for various contributions ($500 and $250) to the NRA over and above the price of the pistol.
The one I have is serial numbered NRA04XXX - so I shoot it! :D

Bought one for my Dad and he couldn't WAIT to shoot it. We must have sent 300 round downrange on the first outing.

Might be a change in plans. Without letting him know what I was up to I was crusing Gunbroker and showing him pics of the MKII's. He thought they were pretty nice but I could tell they didn't do much for him.
Came across a picture of a Beretta NEOS. He said that had to be the coolest looking gun he'd ever seen.

If it helps at all, I like our Beretta NEOS.
It is fun to shoot, and reliable. But it does not point right for me. Not really a problem, this is a gun one aims, not one uses for point shooting in self defense.
