FN Herstal's new fns. What a great feeling polymer pistol.

Has anyone shot this new firearm. It'll be better when the safety is gone. Another thing is the trigger reset. I'm a huge glock fanboy, but this is awesome. We'll see after a few more field test.

They need it in DAO and without the ridiculous manual safety. Oh, and they need to figure out how to make a subcompact.

Rumor has it that they've been working on a subcompact but no other info yet.

They're probably trying to throw a larger net for military contracts (and maybe even some LE contracts) by adding the manual safety. Even though there are countries that have addopted the Glock, there are a lot of countries that probably stipulate having a manual safety. Even though we're taught to never completely trust a safety, the name "safety" probably makes defense appropriation committies sleep better at night.
