Many thanks to the THR members who help me overcome resistance to buy this beauty. I was unsure whether to purchase the Walther PPQ in .40 S&W. I did and it is a gem.

Looks a lot like an HK P30. How much did it cost you?

Hey QC, did you shoot it today? Let me know if you head up here to Point Blank.

Not able to shoot until Wed. Firepower most likely. What is PB like? Rates?

That's a great price for that gun anywhere, let alone a gun show. I don't think I've seen one (9 or 40) as cheap as that.

Now, let us know if you find deals on magazines for it.....they run around $50 each.

Great price... and nice pic! I love my 9mm PPQ (here's a photo and a link to my thoughts on it on my blog):

PBR is ok. It runs $18 per day. They are very proud of their guns and accessories though. When I checked there for the PPQ I think they had it marked for almost $700. I liked my deal at Cheaperthandirt.com for $471 a lot better. lol

Man, you spend $18 a day on PBR? I could get a lot of Sam Adams for that rate.

Sorry, couldn't resist. :D

lol. PBR is a timeless classic though.

In my day, $18/day would have been a bargain for either PBR or Black Label.:D

*** UPDATE ***
100 rounds of Fed HST 180gr JHP rounds through her last Wednesday with no issues (snappy though...my first .40 S&W). In fact, I am as impressed as I had hoped with all aspects of operation as advertised on forums.
