Glock Mag. question

I'd like to get a couple standard capacity mags for new Glock 19; am not too crazy about paying scalpers prices. Should I just get a couple more 10 rounders for now; wait and see what happens this fall with the ban, take a chance on lowered prices OR should I just suck it up and put out the bucks now.....

Opinions, advice welcome :D

Thanks,

Mike

I use the NDF NFML 15 round mags in my 2nd Gen G19 with no problems. They dont drop free on their own loaded but empty they seem to drop free pretty much unassisted.

Big difference in paying $80 for a FML DF mag instead of $40 for a NFMLNDF mag.

Also, look into getting a G17 mag too. The 2 extra rounds are nice at the range.

FYI;
FML=Full Metal Lined
NFML= Non Full Metal Lined
NDF= Non Drop Free
DF=Drop Free

I have a number of preban magazines that are "drop-free" but don't drop free (to be fair I have some that do drop unassisted). Also have some non-drop-free mags that go either way. As iffy as this drop-free non-drop-free issue is, I'd go with non-drop-free if I were you. Lots of these are around and as already mentioned you should be able to get a few at a good price if you keep your eyes open (try www.gunbroker.com ). I doubt you will see the days of $17-20 standard capacity factory magazines return. I'm sure if the ASW ban goes into oblivion Glock has been paying attention to how much these things have been going for. Look for new prices in the $40s or $50s. Sig, S&W, and H&K are all doing this with their 10 rounders now anyway.
