I was digging thru the holster box and realized there were ''rather a lot''!!! I know many have admitted to same .. probably some way worse than me. I even have one or two more coming, plus ... odd ones that might be ''around''!
So ... come on ... lay em out on the floor and take a pic (pouches etc can be included, of course!) .. let's see who is the most guilty!! Come on own up .... make this lot look like nothing!

Nice Burke in the bottom center. :D Looks just like one of mine. Is this all your holsters, or just the "inactive" ones?
My box isn't as impressive as it could have been, as I sell, give away, and toss many of my "holster regrets."
I'm looking forward to seeing y'alls posts. I'll dig out the box in the next few days.

Haha! Not surprised you spotted the Jim Burke Tech! A fellow admirer of his stuff - I know you are. Pretty distinctive eh ... and that is the one I'd love to get a dupe of ... suits my SP-101 just great ... it's good for a lot more mileage yet but ... need to look ahead ... plenty of sweat stains too - well mostly on back side!
This is ''most'' LOL ..... I know I have other oddities around in odd places . but I doubt they are worth bothering with - reason why they wouldn't be in the ''main box''.
I did take off my N frame OWB to add to the pic ... currently using it to carry M28-2 with CT grips. It's just right of center ... next to a coupla Don Hume ''belt-slides''.
The two ''fancy'' ones in center .. I made those about 20 years ago with a leatherworking buddy .. one for .44 mag Redhawk .. now suits SBH ... and other was made for my original M27. Both suede lined ... and belts ''double wrap'' with nice buckles and ammo loops. Great for open carry.
I oughta thin them out as many not used but ... always think ''Might be a gun coming along that'll suit one''.:D

I keep my "inactive" holsters stowed. My regular holsters actually have a spot in a cabinet next to the safe. Since I dispose of most of my regret holsters, I actually have nearly as many usual holsters as inactives.

Hey P95, nice collection, do you have a favorite holster for your namesake? I changed my mind on getting the Kel Tec P3AT and picked up a Ruger KP95D instead. I would really like an IWB for allday/everyday use. Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Ryan

Spooky .... hey, welcome dude! :)
Funnily enough .. My P95 gets carried much less now ... I chose the username way back when it was the usual carry and then in fact ''upgraded'' so to speak .. to P97 for some while.
However ... Look at bottom row and count in three and four from right ... both Fobus paddles .. third for P series (suits both pretty well) and the other is for BHP. Still do carry P series but less often now I have CT grips on two revo's.
The other rig which is great for P95 in particular ... is the Bianchi X-15 .... which is the third from right top row ..... gun sits very well in that and it's front break ... very easy draw but good retention.
I'm really not the guy to ask re IWB .. there is only one there (Bladetech) - second one in bottom right .. for BHP ..... because I just do not cope well with them .. maybe too ''bony'' ... whatever .. it's sho rig or OWB. Someone else may have some suggestion for you I hope re IWB.

Man I only wish I had half that many holsters. I just wish I had the money to buy a tuckable IWB. That would be my third holster. :)

wish I had half that many holsters DigMe .... I expect you are younger than me, considerably ... less impetuous ... better disciplined with your hard won cash ...... and better at getting the first choice right!!
Sometimes tho - awful hard to know what's right (or not) till you try it!

I know what you mean and I would be trying out lots if I had the cash. Has nothing to do with discipline and everything to do with bein' po! Some day I will have the money to own a bunch of unused holsters though I imagine. :neener:

I actually have a 5 drawer lingere[sp] cabinet in the office that is full on holsters. One drawer of paddle holster, one drawer of leather concealment holsters, one drawer of Kydex (mainly Blade-Tech) and two with other odds and ends. The rest of the holsters are in a large storage container somewhere in the house....I think.

P95, thanks for the info. I just picked up the P95. Prior to getting the 95, I carried my P90 in a cheap Uncle Mike's holster either on my right hip or wedged IWB at about 4 o'clock. I too am rather thin I guess ( 6'-0", 155#) so I think the P95 may work better for CCW. I just got my CCW last weekend so I am still learning and trying to find the best fit for me.

Yeah ... one of the reasons for a ''collection'' of holsters growing, is that in the end, you just have to try stuff to know if it suits .. you personally.
If you are on thin side then ... partly cos cost is so low ... do try a Fobus paddle . It means you can sit the rig at 3.30, 4.00 or whatever suits .. and as long as you adjust to an ''inertial'' draw, as I call it .. you have both good retention and yet ... a clean draw.
P series are chunky and bulky guns .. fugly in fact!! :p But ... get the rig right and they are no prob at all.. hope you manage to settle on something without too much hassle. Let us know what seems to work for you ... always interesting to know.

Just like many of you, I have the ever present box of Holsters, and if I can ever figure out how to use the program that came with my Digital Camera, I will post a pic.
Most of them are for pistols and revolvers I don't own any more, but someday I might. My weakness has always been for IWB holsters in hopes that I would find one that truly lived up tp it's name, all the time. Some of them natably the Galco Scout works well most of the time and is one of my favorites. Only gripe is the grip angle presentation is too vertical and tends to print. I just received a new one for my Para LDA from an outfit called THC out of Arizona. It's made of Kydex so it is super slim. It is the thinnest pistol holster I have seen and is molded so tightly to the particular weapon that iy locks the pistol in place securely. It holds the weapon at the proper angle for me and forces the grip in to my side.So far so good, just don't know about the comfort factor (hard plastic) when it is worn all day. Concealment for me is excellent and time will tell about the comfort.
FWIW, my collection of holsters is nowhere near as impressive as those in the photos, then again I do sell or give one away now and then.

Hey JPM70535 ...... sounds like you may have found a keeper ... wish I could cope with IWB but . just don't work for me.
You say ''impressive'' ... hahaha .... not sure about that being right word .... ''indulgent'' maybe ...... ''stabbing in the dark'' ..... all experimentation probably.
The search for the Holy Grail!:D Concealability vs comfort ... :p

JPM70535,
Do you have a link for THC holsters? When I do a google search all I get is marijuana references.

I USED to have a big box of old holsters. But since I've found Ebay, its gone and I got decent chunk of change for them. Only trouble now is, I never seem to be able to cash out my Paypal account, and they have a lot of stuff to spend that cash on on there! I'm gonna need some bigger "old holster" boxes now! :D
Seriously though, its a great place to recover some of that money spent on things that didnt quite work out.

p95, I am sorry, by no means was I atempting to say you shouldn't have started another thread, heck if we only discussed things once we almost could have left it with the firing line and never started the high road. It is nice to revisit this topic as that thread was almost a year ago. I just didn't have my picture on this computer any more and it was just easier to link to that thread. Thanks for posting my pic.

Hey, no probs . didn't take it the wrong way at all. Guess tho I am ever mindful of ''lazy search syndrome'' - where things get double posted too easily. True, your thread was a ways back, so probably I did not err too badly!:)
I reckon if we all on THR put our holster stuff together - we could have one humdinger of an auction .. or even all trade around and finish up with what we need ..... only!!:D
