First off my everyday carry S&W 442. Got some aluminum grips made up that are half the width of magna grips.

Just picked up a S&W 34-1 with original box/paperwork/cleaning supplies. Been wanting a .22lr counterpart for a while. This has no cosmetics blemishes but has been fired. Any idea on value?

They look so happy together!

no website. I worked with a machinist to design and cut them out of T6061. I spent more on R&D and the product than the gun itself. Always thought, it there was enough demand, I'd get them produced.

Nice 64-1. I would probably pay up to $675 for one in that condition. That has nothing to do what it is worth. It may very well be worth more or less. ;)

Better send that 442 to me for function testing.
I like your aluminum grips.
Funny thing, I've always like the thickness of the Magna grips.
I'm probably in the minority, but they feel good to me.

Wait a minute! Isn't the model 64 a stainless steel K frame?

Your Model 64 K, is actually a Model 34 Kit Gun. Great little revolver I have a blued model with a round butt and 4" barrel.

OK I'm curious, what is the after market piece attached to the right side of the revolver (442) and purpose?

Please keep in mind that the Model 34 is nickel plated, not stainless. Great revolver. I love mine (Model 34-1):

Mind slip! it is indeed a 34.

The aftermarket piece is a clip that runs parallel to the cylinder. It allows me to just tuck the 442 into the waistband without the need of a holster. Easiest/slimmest/fastest way to carry. Similar to the hip grips of the past, but the gun rides a lot higher (for a better draw, IMO).
