Can't find a thing online. Came on a gun that I got at a good price, so the scope was not an issue in the sale. It is a Tasco DMGA6-24x50TV. Has an oval sight picture, standard crosshairs, adjustable objective 10yds-infinity, 1/4 MOA clickers with slots, not turrets. Looks to be manufactured March 2000.

Any ideas?

What exactly are you wanting to know?

What is it? There is no model line, can find any specs online, don't know if it is low or high end Tasco (relative terms of course). Is it decent? Is it going to crap out on me after a few shots? I found some pages in european languages but that didn't help me.

Okay, so it looks like it might be a Golden Antler TV view scope. Anyone have any experience with these? Is it on par with Barska, NCstar, BSA a step above that maybe? I'm mainly going to use it for target and maybe some varmints under 200 yards on a 223.

Which is? I'm looking more for durability reports. I know I can shoot and see how well it works, but if it's going to break a reticle after 100 rounds I'll get something else to sight in.

That was developed before Tasco went belly -up and reorganized. Should be good optics.

I kind of just glanced at this the other day, but today I read it & I think you are backwards arn`t you, don`t you mean it has a Adjustable sight picture, Standard Cross-hairs, & a Oval Objective............

No, the objective lens is adjustable for parallax changes from 10 yards to (theoretically) infinite distance. The oval sight picture I mentioned is something Tasco calls "TV view", as the image in the scope looks like an old 1950's TV screen. Like this:

The best Tasco scopes were made in Japan. Does yours say where its made?

Abel, it's made in China.

Tom, the lenses and bells are round, it just has an internal insert that has a "TV" shaped window in it.
