I am looking for an accurate reliable load yielding at least 700 fps (126pf).
I prefer W231 and option of Solo 1000
Less good option Bullseye
Glock 35

A quick glance at Lyman #49 only shows Bullseye and Clays starting loads giving anywhere close to that 700 FPS.
4.2 Bullseye = 665.
3.3 Clays = 641.

I'm getting 850-875 fps with 4.0g Bullseye out of a 4.25" M&P40 (depending on the temperature) using Lee 401-175TC's seated to 1.135" 3.8g BE still got up in the 840-850 range.
I averaged 712fps with 3.8g Red Dot and a very light recoil. Don't go below that or you might get FTE's or last round not locking the slide back once in a while.

For 40S&W, Lyman #49 used .401" groove diameter test barrel (page 362) that was 4" long and .401" sized lead bullets for their load data, and often shows higher start/max powder charges than other load data.
If you are using .401" sized lead bullets in .400" groove diameter barrels, I would reference 1999 Winchester load data - http://www.thehighroad.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=159609&stc=1&d=1329800605
Missouri 180 gr TCFP bullets with 3.8-4.1 gr of W231/HP-38 at 1.125" OAL produce mild recoil and accurate loads.
170 gr Lead W231 Start 4.0 gr (850 fps) 22,800 PSI - Max 5.2 gr (1030 fps) 33,200 PSI
200 gr Lead W231 Start 3.0 gr (700 fps) 21,100 PSI - Max 4.0 gr (850 fps) 33,200 PSI
Of course, to verify the velocity in your G35 with longer barrel, you would need to chrono the load.

I am currently loading W231 at 3.8g and it is accurate and soft - but I need to run it on the chrony.
