Just felt like sharing something I found. Something people in "ban" states should read.

Really well written, goes over the rationality of these bans and whether or not the banned guns or "dangerous features" actually make any difference at all.

I don't know how useful this could be in affecting the laws of any "ban" states, but if you can think of a way, use it!

In California, some might say we are a ban state but the truth is that existing guns were allowed to be owned and used and only new sales were restricted. We also can own "featureless" rifles or certain full featured rifles with a magazine release modification. In some cases the difference between a legal rifle and an illegal one is simply the identification stamped on the receiver.
No babies or kittens have been saved by the so-called AWB.

Same here in CT... No Colt SP1s or Sporters for anyone, but those Bushmasters and LMTs are fine. And don't even get me started on "Avtomat Kalashnikov AK-47 type"....
