The Lee loader works OK but is a lot of work for the few rounds you end up with. Better to spend a bit more and get a press and dies. Been there, done that; Lee loader, Lyman 310 tool, Ideal nutcracker. If you have way more time than money, go for it.

If you have a lever-action 45-70, don't go for it.

You need full length sizing and a good roll crimp to make safe functional lever-gun ammo.

For that, you need a reloading press & dies.
