I'll preface this by saying I'm not a big fan of derringers. Every one that I've ever played with and/or owned was a fun gun at best or a dangerous piece of crap at worst. Also, the ones that were in a serious caliber were generally so big that I might as well have been carrying a J-frame.

That said, this new double-action, titanium, .45ACP derringer has rethinking this a s deep concealment handgun when wearing a suit, etc. Its about the same size as the little mousegun autoloaders, but in a big bore.

So, anyone have experience with them? Thanx.

I have seen them advertised and I would like to have one but for what they cost I'll never own one. That much money for two shots ain't gonna happen.

The problem is the weight and 2 shots for me . At 14oz its also not light. If i need thin pistol then let it be a 380acp with corbon loads and a sair mag at least weight loaded with extra mag. and at 1/3rd the price. If i want to match the weight ,my kahr cm does well enought .

I was reading about them last month.
I think they fall in the area where you can carry more rounds, at about the same size, and for a lot less money.

I don't think they exist except in concept form. The one I looked at during SHOT 2012 was more or less a mockup with some functionality so it could be used as a demo piece.
