I picked one up from the knife pusher at the gun show on Sat.Really easy to open.Feels good in the hand and is sharp!
I'm starting to like these new Spideys. It seems like they are easier to open than the older ones.Back in the day I had a police and a snapit.Dunno what happened to 'em.

I have have one too, as well as the Persistence and Tenacious. The Persistence seems to be my favorite. You're right about the feel and easy opening. Enjoy it.

I like the Persistence the best of those, too. I don't like the Ambitious as much as the other 3.

For the price, the Ambitious is amazing. Could use a better edge but nothing you can't solve yourself.

It makes perfect sense that they are easier to open.
The Police and the Snapit are both midlocks, so you have to fight the backspring until it snaps open.
The Ambitious is a liner lock, so the only thing holding the blade closed is a ball bearing detent. Once that releases, the liner provides minimal resistance until the blade locks.

I have been digging the looks of the Endura for a while now. Yet I really never see anything about it. Is it a good choice or not?

The Endura is one of Spyderco's main knives.... It's been around about as long as Spyderco has been around as a company. It's a great knife for EDC.
I've had mine (stainless handle model) since the mid 1990's.... I finally broke the lock mech while on deployment in 2004.... It's now more of a slip joint than a lock back.... I've got alot of sentimental attachment to it and was really pissed that I broke it doing something stupid.... So I retired it rather than risk sending it in for repair (and them junking it - sending me a new replacement model).
I have the smaller version for EDC today (Delica). Occasionally I carry a Dragon Fly which is an even smaller version.
