How--and how often--do you clean your dies? Anything different for carbide dies?

Straight-wall pistol dies get cleaned after each session, patch with solvent works. I pay special attention to the seater, it collects lead shavings and lube, and needs to be flushed with brake cleaner, or broken down and cleaned.
Dies for bottleneck cases get cleaned when I think about it, except for the sizer die, patched out each time I size a batch of cases. Rifle seater dies don't seem to need cleaning:D except on rare occasion. Then I'd have to reset the seating depth, so I don't

I load a lot of cast bullets, so I get quite a bit of lube built up in my dies.
A squirt of WD/40 and a Q-tip cleans them out about every 500 rounds.
