My son gave me Glock as a present. I am about half way through and it is an amazing read. Old Gaston was a smart guy and snookered S&W a few times. The author also describes how Glock interacted with various political issues such as the AW Ban.
I don't own one but I may have to get one for its historical significance if nothing else.

Is it worth reading? I've heard some negative things about the book.

Like what?
I am obviously in no position to fact check a lot of his stuff.
His description of the Luby's Cafeteria was a little deficient, I'll grant you.

I haven't had a chance to read it, but it sounds interesting. Everything I have read about Gaston is that he's a shrewd businessman and a tough ol' buzzard.

Gaston created a great pistol. I hear his curtian rods were also "perfect"

Can't say as I've read it but since I recently broke down and bought a glock maybe I'll pick it up.
