Can I ask where you got the shotty?

the shotgun is the M26 MASS. It will attach to the botton of the M4 Rifle to help with breeching so that the Soldier doesn't need to carry an extra weapon. The "muzzle break" extends 3-4" so that you can jam it into a door or hinge and the gasses won't blow back into your face. The picture you see is it in it's stand-a-lone "mode" the stock and pistol grip can be removed for mounting. It is also a pump action with the charging hand on the left side with can be switched to the right side for you lefty's out there.

You mean you didn't go to Red Jacket and get one of their kludgy Saiga slung under a AR 15 "Game Changa" setups?

Where do I get the M26 MASS ? That thing looks awesome !

That's quite the grip angle thing it has.

This might be a dumb question:

When the M26 MASS is mounted, is the trigger pulled by gripping your magazine and extending your index finger into the trigger guard? I am just trying to imagine the ergonomics and I can't wrap my mind around it.

Chemistry Guy,
Yes using your non firing hand placed on the M4 Magwell, also keep in mind the MASS is a pump style action so you have to charge it after you fire everytime. There is also a Pistol grip being designed for stand alone mode which makes the shotgun more compact.

The picture of the shotgun doesn't seem to match the description. It has a separate stock and flip up sights. Are you saying you would remove this stuff first, before attaching it to an M4? And the muzzle brake doesn't have any "teeth" so how does it go into the door frame? I'm confused.

The stock and other attachments are removable and it can mount under an AR setup for a M203 launcher. The muzzle device is another option, this is one of the one for a standalone use.

the muzzle does have little teeth to it nothing crazy. Twist and pull the muzzle out and lock it into place and you got another 4" or so.
