If a rapist rapes and then strangles a woman with her own pantyhose, do you think the liberals would sue the pantyhose company??

Food for thought...

Things like that tend to be ignored by the liberal "elite". They have an anti-gun agenda, which has nothing to do with the crime.

You ever have a run-in with some guy in a bar or some such place. He bumps into you and then tells you to "watch what the hell you're doing". At this point anything you say is taken as either a challange or an insult ... the whole point is he's looking for a fight yet still wants to make it look like its justified (even though he knows you, he and all the bystanders know exactly what he's up to).

Thats what the antis are doing with these gun manufacturer law suits ... even they know there is no logic to their suits, but logic and justice are not what they are after.

In my opinion, if these people believe that the firearm manufacturer should be held responsible for the illegal use of his legal product, then in every single case of injury or death resulting from a DUI driver, the beverage maker (not the bar or bartender) must be blamed. Their product performed exactly as designed and placed the individual in an intoxicated state, at which time he committed a crime that would not have occured without the presence of that alcohol.

They're not being sued for the murders but for not following established law and policy (negligence).
I don't think Bushmaster can be held liable for anything but the dealer, Bulls Eye may be SOL. I would also like to know what the BATF was doing if they knew the Bulls Eye had bad inventory problems.
