Anyone have suggestions for lube/grease on an RCBS Grand shell plate? Does it matter if they are silicone or petroleum based?

On the shell plate I use graphite. Call RCBS though for sure.

I use Mobil-1 on my Dillon, but any full-synthetic will do. Since synthetics don't oxidize, there will be no gummy mess in 5 years. You just want 1/2 drop or so.

On places handling powder and primers dry powdered graphite would work better than oil.
