Here is a good self-defense\stand your ground poll to vote on. It's very close right now.

Looks like they have moved it away from the main opinion page. I guess the results weren't going the way they wanted it to. But don't worry you can find it here:

Now that zimmermans account of the event has been made public, PO is shifting faster than second to third in a Porsche.

His account clearly indicates why he wasn't arrested.

The don't repeal is leading 64% to 36% now.

The underlying question which is asked in the article is whether a law which has allowed people who killed with insufficient justification should be repealed or not. And to that I say: No. Our justice system is designed to favor letting the good off at the expense of also letting the bad off. The deaths of a black man and a hispanic man are simply the cost of ensuring that people acting in lawful self-defense do not run afoul of the law.

65% for us now. Nice of them to change the page. It's rather disturbing though that some people can't separate the certain incident from the way the law is written. "stand your ground" means just that, it doesn't mean chase to someone else's ground.

At this writing it looks like about a 2 to 1 ratio in favor of the law. Hope good judgement continues to prevail

Notice how even though 'no' won they still put it on the bottom to trick the eye.

Its on the bottom because no was the second option on the poll... -.-

If the language and implementation of the law result in no legal repercussions for those who chase someone else's ground, then that law deserves to be reexamined and modified to achieve it's claimed purpose.

Unless the basic purpose isn't actually for stand your ground.
