Savage 8x57

I was told that Savage chambered their model 111 Euro in 8x57 Mauser. The Savage number is 18388. Does anyone out there have one of these?

All I know is I'd love to have one. I'm going to go and get an older one chambered in .30'06 and then rebarrel for 7.92 (8mm Mauser)
