Lee Auto Disk with Titegroup Problems

First time using Titegroup with the Lee Pro Auto-Disk with adjustable charge bar and finding it to be a major pain. This is with the Classic Turret with 9mm Lee dies.

Problem is, randomly it will meter only a ~1 grain throw (4.0g is my nominal load). Then the next throw about 1 or 2 grains heavy. Obviously not a good situation given the sensitivity of this powder. Functionally everything seems fine with the Auto Disk. It does seem to take much more time to get the charge weights dialed in with this powder than others.

Have no issues with this set up using a long list of other rifle and pistol powders. Any ideas what might be going on?

Thanks!

Do you have the same issue when using the discs?

I use as low as 3.3grs, which is the smaller hole in standard disks, without problems.

Is the hopper hole fully open, or is there anything preventing the bar to move all the way? Are you pushing the lever all the way? We're looking at a narrow hole, easy to "miss", and maybe hard to fill...

Years ago, I had squib loads with a spherical powder which build up lumps in rotors and disks, due to static electricity.

I think I've fixed the problem by running down the expander die about 3/4 more of a turn down. This seems to cycle measure more completely. Flares the brass a little more than I want but the charges are consistent.
