A friend of mine showed me a couple of top break S&Ws that have been in his family for many years and asked me to help him find something out about 'em, so here we go. One is a 4" lemon squeezer, 5 shot, with a small trigger guard, SN 12137. There's no caliber stamped on it but appears to be .38 S&W.
The other is also a 5 shot, maybe 38 S&W, with a spur trigger. Has a smaller frame than the first and an exposed hammer. SN 60370.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If they're both in .38 S&W, they may be a .38 Safety Hammerless, 2nd Model and a .38 Single Action, 2nd Model.

More information would be needed for positive ID. Photos would be peachy.
