I recently bought a Puma replaca of a .45 in .22 long rifle at Sportco in Fife. Has fixed sights. A fixed barrell, and functions well. For elevation you are told to file down the front sight. The barrell is not a true cylinder, varies .030. The bushing measures .035 larger than the barrell. I sent the supplier on the instruction manuel an Email with the actual dimensions, and asked if they had any tighter bushings. Did not receive a reply. At 7 yards the bushing allows a 6" difference in bullet strikes. The pattern is acceptable, but when you load another clip, the bullet strike changes. At 25 yards it does not print on the target. I'm thinking of trueing up the barrell and adding a sleve to the bushing. Any one have thoughts about doing this modificaton?
