First of all I love Webleys. RIC pattern ones to be precise. I also love to shoot anything in .45acp. Unfortunately in my opinion niether the twain shall meet safely. Last night I got to thinking, I know, I know, but just bear with me. I recently purchased a couple of ruger vaqueros w/ birdshead grips and in .45 acp. I'm having very bad thoughts here. Remove the ejector rod and housing, shorten the barrel and you are starting to come up with a firing RIC somewaht look-alike. Any other suggestions like grips or so on ? Any other guns that can be morphed. To me it's all just fun anyway. Many thanks in advance.

Find a chopped later Webley shaved to accodate .45 ACP. Then load to an appropriate pressure, staying well below factory .45 ACP. In this case a Mark I for $200
