This has been the case in the past, but don't get too comfortable about Kerry. He is an extreme left wing radical. The thought of him being able to sign executive orders is alarming to me. AWB renewal anyone?

The mere thought of Kerry as President has driven me solidly back to the Bush camp. My support is there for the Pres to lose. Sign an AWB renewal. Lose my support.

Perhaps the worst that could come of a Kerry administration would be the resignation of at least one Supreme Court justice in the next term.....an opportunity for Kerry to radically alter the ideological composition of the court. Scary, SCARY thought.

The court is supposedly 5-4 conservative now, but it is not. It is 5-4 liberal. Makes me :barf: . We desperately need more conservative justices and Bush will put them on before Kerry will. If Kerry selects justices, we are just totally screwed for 40-50 years. At least Bush has been putting people like Pickering forward as nominees...

California used to be that way. Since the 80's there were Republican Governors. Except for 2 of those years, both houses of the Legislature were controlled by the DemocRATS. The Repub Govs kept the Dems from doing too much harm to the 2A although the record was not perfect. That was all fine until 1998 when Gray Davis, Democrat swine, became Governor. He signed every single anti gun bill that came accross his desk and there were a bunch of them because the Dems don't want us peons to have guns. He got recalled about 6 months ago. Replaced by a total RINO (Arnold Schwarzenegger).

Wait till your state elects the Dems to run it all. Your state will be as bad or worse than the PRK. Or, since you neglected to put where you came from in your bio, maybe you are in the PRK and like the restrictions.

I'm afriad I have to agree with this. While I don't like everything Bush
is doing I hate to give the Dems more power.

Bush has been proven to put conservatives up for justice appointments. Why do you think the Dems did so much stonewalling on his judicial nominees? THey thought they were too conservative. He WILL put conservative justices on the stand.
